Silver Linings - Celebrating 2020

A self-initiated lockdown project that sought moments of joy in an otherwise bleak year. Using pandemic newspaper headlines, origami models were folded to symbolise the unexpected positives of being in lockdown. For me, the strongest was a renewed appreciation of nature, hearing birdsong without traffic, stopping to smell the roses and watching butterflies emerge as the seasons shifted more vividly than ever before.
